Curtis Turner may have given Pearson a run. He was a notorious partier.

This is why they instituted stages. This seems like a redundant race

I think it has been decent.

The varying pit strategies without the stage breaks have been interesting and have jumbled up the running order. The 19 has looked like the best car all day though.

This race is boring. The only thing that kept it interesting for a little while was when Busch, Logano and Byron didn’t earlier.

This caution could make the finish interesting. Weird spin by Denny.

That looked like a bad pit for the 34. Disappointing since they've been running in the top 5 much of the day.

Best car won.

Kind of feel bad for McDowell. His car looked like the only one that might be able to challenge the 19 if he got into position, but that last pit stop really screwed him.

Sometimes you watch the cup series and a race breaks out.

Dale Jr. Download has had some interesting guests recently discussing the DEI days. They've had Steve Hmiel, Slugger Labbe, Richie Gilmore, and Joe Mattes. These guys were all significant players in significant moments in DEI's history. Definitely worth listening to some of their interviews, as well as interviews from the last couple of years with Tony Eury, Jr. and Ty Norris.

It's really interesting to hear Dale Jr. reflect on DEI and himself during these interviews. You can tell how much he regrets some of the things he did in those days and some of the decisions he made, particularly his split from the Eury's after their great 2004 season.

Been in Alaska for the last 10 days so I haven’t kept up with news.

Any comments on the speculation that Bristol will lose its spring date and North Wilksboro will take that race and become a points race.

I heard about tbe added race but didn’t hear who would lose one. Bristol used to be the hardest ticket to get for tbe whole season, its a shame what they did to that track. And I fear if they repave NW it will become the same if not done right.

Stewart-Haas Racing has said they will be making a “major announcement” on Wednesday. It is expected that they will be announcing that Josh Berry will be replacing the retiring Kevin Harvick.
