It's actually classified as a one way, public road while its not rented for private event/track day. Regular road and traffic rules apply and (most) road legal cars are allowed on it without restriction. If you notice, it doesnt require any safety equipment, not even a helmet. Regular insurance covers it too. Its the most freedom track in the world.

Anyone planning on making any races next year? tWife (no pics) and I are considering Montreal and Austin. I’d love to do Interlagos or Suzuka but those might be out of the picture.

The Brawn GP documentary on Hulu is a pretty good way to fill the void of no race this weekend.

Montreal and maybe Spa.

Have another Euro trip in the planning so not sure how that will go. Detroit GP is on the board as well, but Montreal is right after so not sure if we will do both.

Considering Montreal. Possibly silverstone.

Happy to share Vegas tips if anyone is considering going. However, guys behind us said all in (flights, hotel, tickets) to Monaco was cheaper than just tickets for Vegas.

Going to Austin next year, hard to plan outside of that given the project I am currently working

Make them work around your schedule. If shite isn’t planned a year out, then don’t wait to schedule something you want to do. Life’s too short, man.

Any thoughts on the new Williams driver?

Why not Sarge?

It is Sargent. Williams isn't known for sneaky signings or things like that.

i mean the only points he scored were because two drivers got disqualified in austin. even lawson filling in scored points. so i can see why they would look around.

also...

Joe Saward: "Informed sources suggest that there is a provision in Ricciardo’s contract for him to switch into Red Bull Racing after the early races next year if Sergio Perez does not up his game."

He also adds that in this case Ricciardo's salary would triple and Liam Lawson would replace him at AT

So it is like every Red Bull contract ever signed. Joe getting the inside scoop for sure.
