It's ridiculous keeping 5-sec penalties to the end of the race if there's a red flag. They should adjust a driver's position during the red flag. Otherwise they are screwed by the cars being bunched up at the restart.

I think two cars have 5-sec penalties awaiting them.

Stop. You're making too much sense.

Not only tires, they can repair the damn car if it's damaged.

I have never heard a good solution that doesn't allow an advantage to someone.

Sometimes you get lucky sometimes you don't.

This was a great race. Maybe even the best of the year.

Not sure why you thought an Aston Martin was going to come out of a coma all of a sudden and challenge the best car on the track.

Yuki demoted from P13 to P16 at the checkered flag.

Lawson finishes P13 in his F1 debut! Great job finishing the race strong under wild conditions!

Edit: Lawson had only one practice session in this car before qualifying. He did an amazing job.

Wet conditions with 4 laps left... Wish RB would boot Perez and put Alonso in that car to see what he could do in comparison to Max in simliar machinary.

Dude is 42 and kicking arse

Gasly was a shoe today. His name should be mentioned more for the big time rides.

Simple. You don't touch the car under red.

Some really good wheel to wheel stuff due to different strategies.

Reminded me of the Indy races now where tire options really force racing and strategy.

It's a joke, but I'd rather red flag and finish the race with the cars racing than finish a race under caution.

Yellow flag finishes suck.

I don't think he's been consistent enough.

FIA would be flabbergasted by that common-sense suggestion.

Why would this ever be considered?

That works right up until three of the leaders are forced to go out on tires cut by carbon fiber or with a wing hanging off due to contact.

Not saying they shouldn't touch the cars, butn it isn't a better solution, just a different.

Careful, one might think you're arguing for the IndyCar model where the cars are the same and it's the drivers that make the biggest difference!
