Start of Quali delayed at least 10 mins

Alpine clearly struggles with announcements.

Finally, it takes up too much of my weekend.
I've found that if I end up having to miss out FP3/Quali on Saturday on a traditional scheduled weekend I'll go back and watch later. Sprints? I might catch the highlights since they don't matter, and like you said, feel like force action.

It appears the rain is moving out faster than expected and quali will get drier as we go

They are so fricking risk averse it's ridiculous. Track is fine.

There was a red flag in the F2 session that delayed everything

Wasn't sure of how I felt about sprint races but I think your post has made me hate them
I never thought about it limiting development. And I want nothing that allows the upper teams an easier way to extend their lead.

Really impressed with Piastri lately.

Yep, you and FT hit the nail on the head.
Only positive I can come up with is that it makes all 3 days of the weekend important if you’re in person at the race.

Dang, I got excited when Danny Ric went p6 but then the deleted lap.

WTF happened with Hulk? Did they hold him in the pits too long?

Hydraulic issue for hulk
Posted on 7/28/23 at 10:33 am to BuckyCheese
I thought I heard something about a hydraulic issue.
Another reason to hate sprint weekends? I should be at home on my couch on Saturday watching this on my TV where I can hear, instead of trying to watch on my phone at the office while these pricks expect me to do some work.

At least it was a track limits that kept RIC out and not just lack of pace.
Yikes for Williams. Spa is usually their forte.
