AlphaTauri: 368 runs (up 16 runs)
You can add this to Red Bull’s total.

For those that have something like the G923, is just putting the pedals on the floor and the wheel on top of a computer desk good enough to get started? Or do you really need at least a mount for them?
The pedals matter the most of any part of the setup. You need something to provide good resistance when braking for repeatability.

I don't know if you are being serious, and i know that its a running bit, but if you know the regulations, there is no way that AT wind tunnel time is benefiting RB.

You can get some very cheap setups on Amazon that will make for a much better experience.
I can't remember if it was the g923 I had, but the one I had had a very very tough brake peddle with a big piece of rubber underneath it. Some people pull the rubber piece out, but for F1 I found that it worked just as well to just use the clutch as my left foot brake. Worked great.

Not even a little bit?

FIA issued a clarification earlier in the year to teams on cross platform wind tunnel development.
No doubt something(s) happened that made the FIA slap some hands.
My question has been about sharing parts and who carries the development of those parts. Do the rules allow one team to buy brake ducts from another team that fit their development scheme. The supplier team built out the ducts to benefit the customer team rather than their own design.

Nope. They have extremely strict systems in place on the data storage form results and who can access, etc. Podcast i listen to has the systems engineer form RB who built the software and he says its a joke that people are speculating that RB can somehow benefit from AT.

I took the rubber block out and also swapped out the springs on the brake and clutch. It's still not close to more expensive pedals, but it works a whole hell of a lot better than the stock pedals.
Here are the springs. They're kind of a ripoff, so maybe you can find them someplace else. They were about half the price when I bought them a year or so ago.

15+ years ago when I did sim racing the brakes were my problem as the pedal was like I had air brakes.
I had to stick to the ovals as I just couldn't get consistent on the brakes with little to no resistance.
Had some Logitech setup. Decent for the time but far from top end.

Ok, then, yea its gonna be a total time suck and have to analyze your lap times with software to determine braking, throttle, brake points, wheel spin, tire wear, etc
If any of you sim racers wonder how closely the data analysis graphs in your sims resemble what real race car drivers look at, here's an old picture I took in the pits during IndyCar qualifying at Laguna Seca. This is Shinji Nakano looking at his data overlaid with the data of his teammate Adrian Fernandez. At the top is the speed graph, you can follow all of the turns at Laguna. Just below that is throttle. I don't know what's below that. At that moment, Adrian's 70.4s lap was middle-of-the-pack, and Shinji's 71.9s lap was dead last. Overlaid on the speed graph, you can see a red horizontal line and a green sloping line, that I think indicates their growing time gap over the course of the lap.

Below is a pic of my setup.
GT Omega Prime Cockpit
49" Samsung Monitor
Thrustmaster TS-XW Wheel Base
Thrustmaster Open Wheel & Sparco Wheel
Thrustmaster T-LCM Pedals (not a fan)
6 Aurasound Bass shakers (seat, pedals, 4 corners)
Wind simulation
Custom PC
I mostly drive GT3 in Assetto Corsa Competizione. I do play around in Assetto Corsa with some F1 cars every now and then.
I've recently gotten into time trial racing up Pikes Peak.. thats a lot of fun.

This is the site you want to buy from if possible. Official promoter and not F1.

Nice, I race mostly on iracing and mostly W13/F1, have done GT3 racing too but I just really like open wheel. Do want to get into LMP so I can do some endurance races.

I got two Grandstand 1 tickets. Nice price after the USD - CAD conversion.
Trying to get two more in Grandstand 12 but the site is crashing.

Same.. I'm hoping the new LeMans game will be good. Would love to do mixed class WEC racing.

You will probably have to get them aftermarket, around 500 per is my guess.
We did hiarpin through the site and hoping next year to get the pre-buy for Grandstand 12. Will do Grandstand 12 on the aftermarket.

Rennsport? I'll be interested to see, but i just really love iRacing's format and management of drivers with the safety rating system.
