He has done just enough early to keep it imo. Not much difference than bottas was for the last few years at Mercedes

The only reason I could see them sticking with him is that the inconsistency of the other teams is keeping RBR safely on top of the constructors. As long as Checo routinely scores some points they aren’t really in any danger.
