If you think Miami is bad Vegas will be worse.
It feels like the shine has worn off quicker than I expected for Miami. Someone on Reddit said they were there last year and this year, and this year seems to have significantly less people.
Ticket sales must've sucked too, a friend bought tickets last year, couldn't make it, and flipped the pair for $6000. Those same tickets this year are currently listed ~$350/each on the secondary market. So anyone who bought tickets to flipped likely lost their arse big time.

I haven’t followed F1 for very long, but even I’ve noticed and absolutely hate what America’s increased interest in the sport has wrought i.e. circus, red carpet atmosphere, sprint weekends, etc. All that shite is 100% catered to American casuals, and it’s killing the soul of the sport.

RB's going full gay.
Did they say it was LGBTQ related?
Looks like just a Miami Vice/Neon theme. Just like the Heat do with their vice night uniforms. Those are some of the best NBA uni's ever.

Most cringe moment of last year was the celebrity interviews at Miami. Hated that shite.

Saw this on the markets, but too late to catch a reasonable flight. Good sign though for future tickets.

I've also seen on Twitter where Ferrari plan to run the single pylon rear wing again, that's the wing they first brought out in I believe FP1 in Bahrain that shook really bad when they hit a curb so they shelved it. I was wondering when they'd roll this out again.

F1 Weekend Warm-up summed it up in the first 5 minutes. Friday was almost a 30% increase in viewership and Saturday was over 30% increase in viewership.
That is all Liberty heard.
They even said fans want less practice. Which is a stupid statement. Just don't watch practice.

Couldn't agree more, it's quite gross to me. Throwing together a Miami and Vegas street circuit with obscene ticketing prices just seems like a money grab trying to ride the DTS coattail.
They look at the Super Bowl as if it's a regular sporting event here and fail to realize actual sports fans could care less about all the glitz and glam. Same goes for Miami, who cares?

Which I feel that statement is slanted too, I hate the sprint weekends, I hated the new sprint format, yet I still watched because I'm an addict and enjoy seeing cars on track. I also watch all the practice sessions too.
Extra viewership doesn't mean they're giving us a better product, it just means addicts like myself will hate it but still begrudgingly tune in and I hate that I can't force myself to turn it off

I'm watching FP1 and these grandstands are almost empty. I know it's just FP1 but DAMN I wasn't expected the crowd to be that slim.

Yeah, as of today can still get tickets for around $300 for Sunday. Miami people have a very short attention span.

I haven't followed it for long either, and IDGAF about the circus-like, red carpet atmosphere and star-laden "paddock walk." I wanna see some fuggin' racin' and dank memes about racing, in that order.

He's standing next to Toto looking extremely focused on the timing screen like he is every weekend.
