Women.

Plus it's 1 PM on a Wednesday there.

Vekic is the prettiest woman on tour.

Quarters of the slams is when I start tuning in. Will be watching Shelton for the first time.

Looking forward to Khachanov / Tsitsipas as well.

Djoko v Rublev QF on fricking ESPN+. Why is ESPN paying for this tournament if they don't GAF? Tin foil hat time, maybe they just don't like Novax and his "agenda"?

They haven't shown any of the night sessions for the past two years. They don't even have any commentators in Australia.

Doesn't make any sense. The match is at fricking 2:30AM CST. There is no way ESPN has anything better on at that time.

I hate every match that John McEnroe commentates.

Shelton having to work extra hard compared to his last matches. Paul in 5. 4-4 1st set

Just tennis being tennis. I was telling someone about this the other day. Imagine Lebron playing a professional game and 50 people show up to watch. Brady throwing for 300 yards in front of 200. This is every day for professional tennis, especially when they aren't playing in a major. Crazy.

Tommy Paul is still live -370. Shelton won that last match because of a bad Wolf ankle.

Paul just so solid lately all-around. Awesome point to hold before the tiebreaker.

Shelton 65 consecutive holds lol

He did just enough. Hate to be Debbie downer but whoever wins this match gets smoked in straights next round. A good American story though.

He’s reading the Shelton serve better now too, and it feels like he’s way more likely to win the rally if he can just get the return back.

This is over imo.

ETA: And I Peej’d that. Paul errors galore out of nowhere.

I'll be amazed if either of these two get a set off Novak, assuming his ankle is good.

Really need Rublev to do the unthinkable.

Yeah Paul can’t hurt Djokovic.

Rublev almost needs to come out and hit all 1st serves. Novak obliterates his weak 2nd serve.

Strange time for Shelton to play his best tennis. Kid is a gamer.

Shelton is full of energy for sure. If Paul tightens up again and the crowd gets into it…
