I disagree. Conference USA is the #5 conference. They are going to get at least three bids. Can’t focus too much on RPI. The main competition for those bids are ODU and UTSA, with MTSU in the distance and really needing some help.
Tech finished second in the conference and beat both ODU and UTSA on the road 2-of-3. I think Tech is 100% in with two wins. I think they are probably in with one win.
Obviously things can change and the bubble can shrink, but Tech wasn’t even one of the last four in last week on D1 or Baseball America. They only helped themselves this weekend.
Team seems to be getting it together at the right time though, I’d love a deep run to the championship to lock it in.

Couple of shots deep but right at people. Probably could have easily had 4-5 more runs. UNO struggled against the back of our bullpen all afternoon only getting 4 hits, and Trahan shut them down at the end.
UNO players seem very hot headed, and pimping a HR in the second after losing 25-4 the night before was absolutely laughable. Hope that dude enjoyed his brief moment because it was all for naught now.

I’m still worried about bid stealers.
ODU threw their ace yesterday, who shut us down during the regular season. Tech is throwing Jennings, who has been our best arm over the past two months. We need this win.
