Calling it for Christopher Bell to win it all today.

Ty Gibbs is not driving the 23 car today due to family emergency, per Bob Pockrass. Not sure who will fill in. News is breaking.
Sounds like Daniel Hemric will be filling in.

Sadly, the rumor is that Ty’s dad, Joe’s son Coy Gibbs has passed away. These are just rumors at this point.

Damn that’s sad if true. Believe they were just celebrating last night.

JGR confirms Coy passed in his sleep last night. So sad.

From Jeff Gluck:
Prayers out for the Gibbs family and JGR. Sad that Ty goes from the amazing experience of winning a championship last night to this awful tragedy.

Coy Gibbs, the father of Ty Gibbs and son of Joe Gibbs, has died at age 49.
Coy was the COO/vice chairman of Joe Gibbs Racing; he was at Phoenix Raceway last night to watch his son win the NASCAR Xfinity Series title.
Coy is survived by his wife, Heather, and their four kids
Prayers out for the Gibbs family and JGR. Sad that Ty goes from the amazing experience of winning a championship last night to this awful tragedy.

Joe Gibbs Racing just confirmed Coy Gibbs’ death, saying that he passed in his sleep.

So crazy. His brother died at about the same age a few years ago. Terrible for the Gibbs family

Logano is gonna win this isn't he?
Posted on 11/6/22 at 4:23 pm to UncleFestersLegs
Logano looks to be the one to beat, would like to see what Chastain could do if he got up there.

Lolol we're going to give this championship to Bell aren't we?
A nonplayoff driver is going to win today

Not really sure whose to blame there but Chase may be done
Posted on 11/6/22 at 4:36 pm to tzimme4
Dump him Chase...do what Denny should have.
Posted on 11/6/22 at 4:37 pm to tWildcat
Chase is to blame. Even Jr. said he would not have given up the spot.
Posted on 11/6/22 at 4:37 pm to NorthGwinnettTiger
They sayin Chastain had a choice but Chase had a choice not to keep running in front of his bumper.
Posted on 11/6/22 at 4:47 pm to Roll Tide Ravens
Logano is the only championship 4 driver who can run in the top 5, Chastain tops out about 6th so far with Bell hanging around 10th most of the race and obviously Elliot in the 30’s now.

Ford running 1,2,3,4 as they run.
Posted on 11/6/22 at 5:05 pm to NorthGwinnettTiger
Logano is just better than Bell and Chastain.
