In old days nascar would find all kinds of penalties during races (speeding in pit road and similar) to send a message it was their sport and no one driver was going to make them look bad. But nascar sold out to the race baiter.
Give any other backmarker the same equipment and they make the chase.

I’m gonna enjoy watching Ty Gibbs get harassed by veterans in that 18 car next year. Total douchebag. Gibbs had a spot in the final four yet trashed his teammate, who lost his spot.
Joe Gibbs better get his grandson under control or he will lose talent to other places. If I’m someone like Bell, I’m hoping Haas figures it out. Ty Gibbs can do whatever he wants, and Joe isn’t doing anything about it.

It’s one thing to bump a guy and try to move him out of the way, but Gibbs just drove through Brandon Jones. That’s evidenced by the way it buckled the hood on Gibbs’ car. Crappy way to race him, especially since he’s a teammate.

Will definitely be watching X race next week. Jones stayed cool and definitely take Gibbs out at Phoenix.
