Has NASCAR ever raced the full Watkins Glen track? I watched an 80's race the other night and they were doing the short track then as well, wasn't sure if it was ever different.

Seems that way. Not sure why anyone would ever take the outside when it is on the inside guy to set the corner. Inside can just drive the outside into the wall/gravel.
