No cautions today besides the stage breaks, first time since 2020.

I saw about 6 laps total of the race. Was it any good?
Aside from the battle for the win between the 8 & 9 coming out of the last pit stop, it was a snoozer.
They are in my backyard next Sunday. Atlanta is gonna be fun.

Kim Coon could get it.

Put Daytona back on the july 4th weekend

I'm okay w/it being the cut-off race. Daytona should be impactful.

Wallace and Bell are switching pit crews. Real odd because Bell is right on the cutline and Wallace is nowhere close to making the playoffs.

Road America penalty just released by NASCAR: Noah Gragson fined $35,000 and docked 30 points for intentional wreck of Sage Karam on Saturday.

Not that odd when you think about where the $$$ is

Surprised that at the very least that Junior and Kelley didn't sit him for a week or two.
That shite he pulled was uncalled for. And I like Gragson.

On SiriusXM, Dale Earnhardt Jr. says he was shocked by Noah Gragson's decision to turn Sage Karam at Road America. "He needs to take that out of his toolbox. We can't be intentionally turning into guys on the straightaway"

NEWS: In a letter obtained by @TheAthletic , the City of Chicago endorses a NASCAR race on a temporary street course for a 3-year stretch beginning in 2023. The deal is not finalized, but a tentative announcement is planned for July 19.

Can we not make the cars actually good on ovals instead of creating more road courses?
Posted on 7/7/22 at 9:23 am to tWildcat
Gross, we have enough road courses now, and I can't imagine big stock cars will produce much passing and excitement on a street course.
Posted on 7/7/22 at 9:25 am to Roll Tide Ravens
It'll probably be really bad. Street courses aren't great in F1, it'll be terrible with stock cars.
