Oh I’ll readily admit NBC is bad, too. I despise Rick Allen.

Is Eli Gold still doing the races on radio there?

Love that Kurt won. He’s been my favorite since Gordon retired. Nice to see him have a statement win. That thing was a rocket ship today.

Bubba was impressive too. The lost wheel was horrible, but he still turned it into a top ten finish. Not bad for “not being a race car driver”.

I used to hate Kurt but loved this win. Might be a low key Kurt fan now

Hard to believe that Kurt only has one championship (2004).

He should’ve won a couple more.

Whatever you want to call him, BW is scared of the gas pedal just like 90% of the other drivers. He's just doing his best to hang on to a race car.
If he does well/wins he does it the same way Les Miles used to win football games: As a result of completely random acts by others that he has no effect on or control over.

Happy for Kurt.

And Denny actually showed real emotion. Holy shite!

This is going to be a very interesting, and fun, qualifying format for the AllStar race. Basically a one lap drag race after the 4 tire change pit stop.

Almarola got caught looking at the Dallas cowboys cheerleader as she walked by and not paying attention to the start light.

Was not as interesting as I hoped. The format should be standing start from start finish line, drag race back around to pit road, pit stop, back around to start finish line, checkers… It’s only 8 cars, shouldn’t take long.

It’s not rocket science so nascar will never figure it out. The pit boxes are empty. Just use the first 8.

4 wide drag race start from the start line, come around, pit, complete a lap, first to line wins. Take top 2 from each race do it again to determine spots 1-4

I agree. It was a dud. Full speed pit stops like the old days was cool. Run a lap, change 4 tires, drag race to the finish would've been great. They have a good idea. Just need to tinker with it a bit.

Still hate that the All-Star race is being run at 7:15pm CT on a Sunday night.

I don’t mind it being tonight

But tell me I’m stupid. Didn’t they use the Roval once for this race? I think they should use more than a 1.5 mile and only rules is car must weigh x and must look like a regular car. Other than that no rules on engines etc

Frankie has the build for a racer
