I’m not sure when exactly the message came through but Max finished over 4 seconds ahead of Checo.

Not taking away from Max. He is driving at peak performance with the best car underneath him. It is what champions do.

You can admit that Max is a generational talent and currently the best driver on the grid while him also being extremely selfish. I am a Max fan, and his actions today speak volumes to his character and Im very disappointed. Maintaining that 1 position will ultimately cost him dearly. He will lose a lot of support from the team and the respect of a great teammate. Checo should never yield to Max again.

Someone else made an ever better analogy. Jordan was subbed out for bench players at the end of blowout games multiple times.

Every driver has a different driving style. In an ideal world they set up cars to give the drivers the best specs.
Here, unless I’m remembering correctly, they set up everything to Max’s preferences and never really went in and changed things for Pereze’s specs.

Probably. But the gap isn’t nearly as big as the standings would indicate. Mercedes has a decidely inferior car, Ferrari has a decidedly inferior support staff

In Spain, checo let max by twice and max refused to let checo back thru to attack rus when Max's drs wouldn't open. Checo let max thru at the end and the win gave max the points lead over lec. Max just shite all over checo today
