I agree with Max, they should have went for track position. It’s clear they aren’t going to pass on track.

I'm wondering if Max has a little bit more he can go to, and was trying to prevent what happened the last go around with killing the tires.

Potentially. Sounds like RBR has been happy biding their time, but Max is always a bit more impatient.

THey just told Mags he doesn't have to manage the tires.

Apparently they learned some from running them, the mediums, on Mick's car at the first stop.

Gasly went to the hard tire and Tsunoda went back to the softs. Is Tsunoda doing an extra pit stop? That would be a disaster.

I’m guessing the last 5 laps could get feisty. Everyone seems wary about blowing their load pushing these tires
