I’m sure Seb will run for office or something where he can still feel important and superior.
Don’t know who’s on deck. Out of all the teams this is the one I’d probably least like to drive for. Owned by driver 1s dad. Tough situation

Retiring after his 300th race seems fitting. I guess Ted Kravitz nailed this last week. I keep seeing de vries mentioned but I don't see that happening

Probably team up with Paddy for the renewable fuels venture

oes any good driver want to drive for Aston Martin? Or will they employ a pay driver that no one will get excited about?
Probably no drivers on the current grid would drive for them, but I bet there's a long line of good drivers from lower tiers that would take any chance to get into an F1 cockpit, even if it means working for Lawrence Stroll.

Mick or Danny ricc I would assume are the first names that will pop up. Not sure how desirable that seat is when you know the team will be giving the good stuff to the owners son.

What’s the significance of the Porsche / RBR agreement? I started watching last year, so I’m ignorant of history. Has Porsche been a player in F1 in the past?

Remember when everyone was saying the Aston Martin looked an awful lot like a green Reb Bull a few races back after some upgrades?
But then they continued to place in the 10-15 range, I really hope Haas doesn’t have that same outcome.

Will Vettel find a way to keep speaking out on his environmental and rainbow causes? Or will we only hear about it while he has the easy platform of F1 to get the word out?

Aston has a bit of a history of copying a design then having no idea how to develop it/make it go fast, so I'm I wasn't very surprised they haven't made much improvement. We saw the same where they were kind of clueless with the pink Mercedes and again with the green Red Bull. Going fast doesn't seem as simple as just copying a concept.
My hopes with Haas is that instead of throwing random small upgrades at their car they've instead taken the time to understand what they have and how to better make it work, and will now make some nice gains with a fairly substantial upgrade package.

So did the upgrades end up being for both cars, or just Mag?

Just Mag this weekend

They've said they hadn't had time to produce two sets of the new stuff.
However, Mick has shown no reason why they should prioritize him over Mag. He's behind Mag in the points, has been slower in practically every outing, and, I'd imagine more importantly, he's been more likely to crash and ruin the new parts. It'll give Haas a good base understanding of what they can get out of the new parts, they'll have the whole summer break to analyze, tweak, equip Mick with the good stuff, and begin their march for WCC in Spa.

Welp guess that shows how much Haas thinks of Mick
Also, absent a 2 race sample, has Mick really shown much himself to deserve the car 1 rep that gars the first upgrade package?

KMag is an animal, you gotta let him run with new gear first.
I like Mick but he has a higher chance of putting it in the wall.

While just in general I don't like the driver 1 and 2 mentality, it is what it is. They probably make it very clear to the 2nd driver that he is in fact not their priority (even though it doesn't seem to be working). That being said, you at least have the chance of being in the points from time to time. Williams might be a more fair situation, but going into every race knowing that you pretty much have no shot at being in the points unless something weird happens, has got to be worse than being a 2nd driver but with a faster car.

Seb Out
Stroll to #1 Aston Martin seat
Goatifi to #2 Aston Martin seat
Mazespin pays his way back to F1 as Aston Martin’s reserve / test driver
They may not score many points, but would be THE team to watch on the track.

To be clear I wasn’t stating Mick should have got the parts, this was simply the first indication from Haas on driver order so far this season. Even though based on results Mags has clearly been the 1
