Expect a strong performance from LH at the Hungaroring this weekend - a classic F1 track.

this was simply the first indication from Haas on driver order so far this season.

They stated the upgrades went to the driver ahead in the standings

OMG if that were to come true if Stroll and Marzapin end up drivers for Aston!
I can tell you I just thought I wouldn't cheer for a driver crashing.

they achieved some success in 80's as an engine supplier to mclaren

I don't think I've ever seen more platitudes stuffed into a "I'm retiring" statement than those in Sebastian Vettel's.

Just shut up and race.

I didn't realize lewis was 2.5 years older than seb. Seb did all his damage at a very young age

Porsche has a very long, very successful racing career across several platforms. They know how to build a highly competitive car.

If you told me Lewis was like 30 and Seb was like 50 I'd believe you

just not in F1. With the new engine rules it will be interesting to see if they can produce a winning pu. As long as Adrian Newey designs the car they will be near the front

I’m interested to see how Audi fits into all this. Sister team? Totally independent? I’m assuming VW isn’t pouring money into two separate programs for power units. Or maybe with the cost structure they will.

And what about Alpha Tauri?

Audi will be interesting. They changed and dominated LeMans for years. It was like a car racing tricycles. The Audi R18 was beast mode.

Red Bull Technologies builds the cars.
Red Bull Racing races the cars.
Red Bull Powertrains is part of Red Bull Technologies...I believe.

Porsche is buying half of Red Bull Technologies. It is sort of the same as buying half the Red Bull team, but not exactly. Also it is pending engine rules being locked in.

Hopefully this 2026 engine fight doesn't turn into the "we're gonna quit if we don't get our way" parade that 2014 did.

Is RBR the only one under the cost cap?

I think engine builders are not included in the cost cap, nor or drivers and some salaried positions, but when it comes to work on the chassis and such they are.

Not sure how RBR handles the financials, I'm sure there are lots of gray areas like all factory teams. It probably comes off as you have $145MM to get your car to the track, whether you build it or buy it at cost from someone who built it, and you need receipts.

From what I’ve gathered, Porsche will make the chassis and PU’s.

The white makes it a bit difficult to see just how concave the top of the sidepod is.

Not a Ferrari clone, but using some ideas it appears.
