Interesting that he and Ham both spun in similar ways re: loose rear ends

Almost looked like both cars bottomed out before losing it.

Looks like a lot of understeer due to front end lift when they are off the skinny pedal.

Ham abandoned those first two laps before the wreck. He knew something wasn't right.

If they were cheering as he got into an ambulance I would agree with your points, but that's not what this is.

The British fans that booed Max would have cheered him sliding safely into a tire barrier as well. It's opposing fan bases that don't like the other guy. It's sports and it's normal. I don't why people are so soft about that kind of stuff.

I was just talking shite because I hate Max, and then dude started talking to himself. As you were.

I’m a McLaren fan, but I like Hamilton more than I like Max.

For all his flaws, Ham seems like a guy who would be very easy to hate if you’re a certain type of person. That same certain type of person would also be drawn to an a-hole like Max. It’s science.

So you lean towards men getting pregnant?

At least Russell didn’t hit the wall near as hard as Ham did.

I'd be more concerned about Russell's gear box with his rear hitting the barrier the hardest.

Did Haas even come out of the pit in Q3?

Nobody abandons laps like Ham. It's what he does.

Holding that call is ridiculous as he was obviously outside the line. He shouldn't have been in Q3. I think it was Gasly that got boned by that.

I don't know how they were policing the corner, how many people exceeded it.

He certainly went wide.

Boned Gasly and gave RBR the advantage of Perez giving a tow, which I don't actually know if they took advantage of.

I thought he went out when he was doing that last lap and was surprised when nothing came of it at the end of Q2... Thought maybe it wasn't a TL corner.

How did they miss it in real time?

A lot of the top tier drivers/teams have been able to operate above the law for so long that it’s not in any way surprising that they drive the way they do.
