To think people used to question Michael Schumacher's fashion sense.

In all sincerity, I really don't judge his choices since I like to wear clothes that make me feel good and hopefully look good. He would look just as out of place in my world as I would in his wearing what I have on right now. I do wish I had a little more style latitude some days but at my age any attempt at cool is just seen as sad for my name is not Flavio.

The season needs to get underway because I have heard about as much whinging out of the UK F1 press as I can handle. Plus their penchant for pure made-up gossip is cringy at beat.

RICH ENERGY WE HAVE A BOBSLED TEAM!

Ok, I'll see myself out now

I love following the Rich Energy antics since the Haas fallout.

William Storey had one of the better F1 related Twitter games. He also just tweeted:

"Fancy a trip to Woking this evening.
#MCL36 #F1"

The whole company seems to be one big troll

Up until I purchased a McLaren hat after COTA this year an unopened can of Rich Energy sitting on my desk is the only F1 related memorabilia I owned.

Cool image someone uploaded

Mclaren and AMR are running the same power unit.

I like it better than their 2021 livery, still no Gulf though.

pullrod front suspension

DRS actuation looks to be hidden, so far Aston is the only one to show their DRS setup.

Is the engine cover much bulkier than the Aston or is it just the paintjob playing with my eyes?

The bodywork on these cars all look nice and clean, but the wheel covers really suck.

Cool to see how drastically different the two engine cover areas are between Aston and McLaren considering they're running the same Mercedes power unit. Aston with the cooling ducts, McLaren without.

Trying to figure out what Aston you have there. The engine cover looks different than all the others I have seen.

Also the front suspension may be different.

Great stuff here:

Aston Martin AMR22 - Aerodynamics Analysis and Initial Thoughts (YouTube)

I was mostly interested in how he thought the gills affected air flow.

I pulled that pic down, it popped up on my search showing the top view but definitely wasnt right. Your image does a better job showing what I meant.

They have to be able to direct air with those. Is it possible to create some sort of blown diffuser type setup?

I doubt very much it will happen, but what if they have some sort of setup where they can slide the vents closed with the steering wheel (like Merc did with DAS)...

Awesome shot on those above pictures. McLaren really packed that PU in there. The AM looks really fat and bulky compared to the McLaren.

It is really interesting to see all the sidepod shaping. AM has most of their cut out below the sidepod but McLaren is up top.

To direct air at some points and not at others? Possible I guess, legal, who knows.

Would be similar to the F Duct type solution. Stall out the rear wing.
