Avoided posting in here because I figured the people that got into it because of the show got hated on, but O well.

Worst reason ever to hate on new fans. 10 years ago the closest we got to an F1 thread was pissing off the FBD thread talking about Eurotrash Nascar.

I, too, am here because of DTS.

My non F1 friends and coworkers might be planning an intervention but that's ok because my wife loves it nearly as much as I do.

putting myself in the anti-lewis column. Can't tell what it is, but I find myself pulling for sainz a lot.

Mazepin would be a great villain if he had any driving talent.

Does anyone really “like” Lewis instead of just rooting for him on the track?

Started a thread on the M/TV board when season 4 came out and Jor Jor and a few others answered some questions but do most pick a driver and stay with them or a team? Or both.

I really like Carlos Sainz and think if you put everybody in the exact same car, Sainz would be right at the top. So I want to pull for him but I'm not a Mattio Binotto fan. For now I'm just pulling for Sainz and kind of undecided on a team. These guys contracts are so short it's kind of hard to keep the same driver and team unless it's Lewis or Max.

Keep in mind, most of my knowledge prior to this year came strictly from Netflix, so it's probably a little distorted

Rough timing on this take.

What's the dislike for him? Seems like kind of a soft spoken guy. I think if I was Bottas he probably wouldnt be my BFF because i'm one of the best drivers out there and I have to let you pass me so you can win races. That would be so frustrating.

But personally, and I havent gotten any takes on it other than one or two and it was probably discussed like crazy on here but I feel like he kind of got robbed last year. At least with the last race. I mean he was 6 seconds ahead with 6 laps left. They make a decision to not let max relap, but then change it because Christian complains. That's kind of messed up.

Are there multiple judgment calls with stuff like that? I feel like that would be something that has a definite rule behind it. It was almost like they were going "Ahh ok lets have them have a shootout that will be better TV" instead of actually enforcing a rule.

Again, I have limited knowledge

Because Leclerc is leading the standings/Sainz performance in Australia?

Mostly what I was alluding to. I don't necessarily disagree with the sentiment, but my mans just wrapped up a weekend from hell.

Dude is a huge hypocrite although he seems to be reeling it in.

Muh cant have fossil fuels, need everyone to save the planet as he's cruising around on his boat or private jet in years past. He did sell the plane I believe.

But nobody can deny what the dude has done on the track.

Got ya.

i probably shouldnt talk about who would win on a level playing field anyway

Another dude I dislike is Gastly. Dude is just weird. This is one of the few sports where I dont really dislike many people though, similar to golf, so that's kind of refreshing.

I'd like to see Haas keep doing ok this year. Maybe take the 5th or 6th (probably more realistic shot) team sport. Give them a good season to build on. It'd be nice to see the american team do ok and it seems like it would be hard to root against Guenther.

There's no way he's one of the more popular drivers on here huh?

Anyone seen Obtuse lately?

Allegedly stolen by a fan while they were posing for a photo with Leclerc. Fan was heard to be yelling "Death to Ron!!" as he made his escape.

AMuS points out the differences between the Haas and Ferrari while Toto whines and cries.

The complaints are coming from Mclaren and Otmar. The third team may be Merc, but the first two are sure things.

Aston might be the third in retaliation for the inquiries into them for 2020.

What I get a kick out of is they are screaming about employees leaving Ferrari and going to work at Haas.

What are they supposed to do? They had to reduce employees due to the budget. Ex Ferrari employees can't work for another F1 team? Yeah, try and do that and watch the lawsuits line up.

And a lot of RB employees went to AT for the same reason.

eta-Articles I have read today are all about Toto. McLaren and the former Tracing Point head are complaining as well, but today it's Toto that's loudest.
