How the hell do you not get any of their top prospects back in return while covering the bulk of the salary? Gallo's not even a rental. It went from 6 players to 4. 4 to covering all of salary. Next thing you know we're going to take Aaron Hicks' contract back as well... just because.

The Rangers front office has been a cesspool of incompetency and idiocy for the last decade.
They lucked into the Mark Teixiera trade and have been riding on that ever since. Remember the "prize" of the Tex trade was Salty who didn't even pan out. Got lucky the other guys did.
