Van Moer, 150M to go. Soul crushing.

Just got caught up.

I always pull for the breakaway I assume most do. That is one of the more brutal catches. The peloton just always has 2 or 3 extra gears but Moer's fight was valiant.

I did love seeing the Manx Missle find some old form.

We know 3 things so far from this TdF

1. Quickstep will work together nicely
2. Ide wants polka dots
3. Cofidis just wants advertising and will go in every break. They’re the Washington Generals of cycling.

I am thinking Wout van Aert or Soren Kragh Andersen win.

I would have picked Thomas or Rog to be on top of the GC contenders on this TT but I don't know if they can hold a good aero position for 30 minutes with their injuries. I think Pog pips them.

just caught up feel bad for the break away hundreds of meters from winning.

Looking forward to the time trial tomorrow, can watch the entire thing live!

Edit: it starts at 5am cst, I’ll watch when I wake up.

Starting to rain pretty good near the start. Could slow down some of the favorites that are still to come

The TT helmets are getting crazier and crazier. Those POC Tempor helmets EF has look very cool but I can't begin to hold my back flat enough to get full use out of the boattail.

McNulty crashed, this rain is not good for these riders.

Bissegger doing pretty well, rain probably prevented him from being in first.

Side note: Did anyone else hear the announcers say the spectator that caused the first big crash was in custody? Did I mishear them?

Yep, Phil just said it. From what I've seen she could get up to a year in prison. I guess some kind of disorderly conduct like running onto the field or court and tackling a player.

Pog started early may be a penalty.

edit: he is flying so far.

As long as Pog stays upright, the Tour is over.

Could they give Pog a second or two penalty for starting early? Could play big for him getting yellow today, doubt it impacts the overall tour competition.

Pog is going to run away with it as long as he doesn't crash.
