Updated standings/results in Post 2.
Have done 35 miles in the last 2 days which is not much. But Forgot how much of a joy it is to be in the saddle.
Time to get back in shape

Anyone else listening to any of the iterations of "The Move' podcast?
I usually enjoy it but it is literally just a half hour advertisement for the same shite products they've been pimping for years. I admit I bought AMP lotion a few years ago. It just made my bibs smell and turned my skin yellow. Lance gonna Lance.
That said, there's another podcast that is part of 'The Move'called 'JB2' where they actually discuss the race and cycling that shows up with it. It's good.
Appreciate GH and LA bc they are truly legends, but if you want insight on to the actual stages check out the aforementioned JB2 episodes unless you want to hear "See you in the Douches" for 20 minutes

It's listed as the first 'official' mountain stage, yes.

The Move has become 20 mins of Lance pimping the companies he’s invested in and 10 mins of cycling talk. I enjoy Johans podcast much more as well.

No, I’ve ridden thousands of miles on road bikes. The rider started rocking his handle bars before he even made contact with her or the sign, plus he was on the outside of the pack, he could have just fallen to his right and avoided the entire crash. He was definitely making sure that if he fell, he was taking everyone with him.

Congrats on your thousands of miles on road bikes.
If you think Tony Martin wanted to take himself and damn near the entire peloton out with potentially catastrophic injuries intentionally then you are a clown.
Welcome to Le Tour thread though. Already shaping up to be a great 3 weeks.

The take that Tony purposely fell that way is insane. Yes he wanted his head rolled over and possibly crashing into Roglic and ending his Tour.
I can’t believe I doubted your thousands of miles on a bike!

Tony Martin a veteran rider is, as a domestique, going to take out Roglic and the rest of his team on purpose? This is the most ridiculous hot take I have seen in a while.

NVM looks like G is hoping back on the bike.

Yeah, it was strange he stayed on the ground a long time. Back in the peloton now.

Just tuning in and they are zoomed in on his arse for an uncomfortable amount of time haha.
How did he crash? Were others involved?

Looked like a speed bump that he wasn't expecting. 3 or four guys went down and Robert Gesink abandoned. That is a big loss for Jumbo. I think Martin was the other Jumbo rider that went down but I think he is rolling.

Did he rock his handlebars before the speed bump first and try to take out the rest of the peloton

Dislocated shoulder for Thomas. Popped it back in and off he went.

Probably going to be sore as hell for a while. The TT in a couple of days has about a 50 meter climb so he may have to pull on the bars a little and he's definitely going to be using his arms on stages 7-10 so it could get really tough with a tender shoulder.

Tyler Hamilton's collarbone says suck it up cupcake.
Of course, according to the Telekom manager at the time it was just a cheap American PR stunt...
It will suck though if he can keep going. G has had a tough go in the Grand Tours adding this to the broken pelvis in last years Giro.

Is the old NBC Sports Gold dashboard that included standings, stage and rider profiles, etc. not part of the live stream on Peacock?

Rogolic just ate it pretty hard.
Jesus Christ another crash. These roads are dangerous
