samesies.

member that time way back yesterday when Pog was going to keep the Yellow for the rest of the Tour?!

This stage has crushed some of the big names.

Merlier also has abandoned. I believe we are at 5-7 DNS/Abandons today already

McNulty from UAE w/ one of the weirder crashes. He just went off the side of the road and then rolled down the cliff.

That was crazy - just carelessly looking over his shoulder and running off the road.

O’Connor making it interesting.

Eating late lunch at a cafe in Belgium after touring WW1 Flanders Fields battlefields. My 10 yr old saw TDF was on and rushed to finish so he could go watch inside the bar. I need to get this kid a proper road bike soon.

Do the Appalachians or Cascades or Ozarks have any mountains that would be good for training climbers on the bike?

Pog doing more for the tourism department of Slovenia than any media campaign.

About to book a trip just for the hell of it.

Colbrelli getting sprinter points at the finish line of today's stage just sent a tremor through the other green jersey contenders

Ben O'Connor moves up to 2nd overall...

But now Pogacar's lead is more than 2 minutes over BOC... and now more than 5 minutes over 3rd place

MVDP has abandoned.

This was my thinking yesterday about MVDP and especially Rog, why ride today? Crappy weather on a brutal day when they both have the Olympics to prep for.

Pogacar is so much stronger than the rest of the field. Dear Phil Podacar was not in the red and the only yellow he was in was a jersey. I guess the GC hopefuls can have another go at Pog come Wednesday when they climb Ventoux twice but even if they could catch him on an off day the finish is after a 20km downhill so it would be hard to claw back a lot of time.

Something Adam Blythe said about the rain jackets fans were picking up when they were thrown off by the riders got me thinking, he said he hoped they returned them to the team. Maybe I am just an ignorant POS but I wouldn't have thought about returning something that was thrown away by a rider, to me the jacket would have been just like a tossed bidon. If they needed to keep it just pop it under their jersey in the back like the rest of us plebs.

Never thought the tour would be so out of hand this early. I guess the racing will be for the podium and not the yellow. Did Pogacar just get extremely lucky and his rivals are just having off days, or is he just that much more talented then the rest of the field and maybe the entire sport. This year may be over but my hope is next year and other races will be more competitive.

Personally I think Roglic was the other guy who could keep pace with Pogacar but with his crashes earlier in the season and on this race contributed to him having to drop early.

They let non-dancing/cheerleader women attend sporting events nowadays?
