I think we’re gonna see a race at Nashville fairgrounds within a few years.

Dale Jr. seems to be involved so I would think so.

That was a very entertaining race yesterday. Lots of teams in the mix. lots of strategy. The racing at the restarts was unbelievable. For once I really was glad they had stages.
The package was spot on for this track.

Agree. One of the better Vegas races over the years.

So which one of the big names does not get into winners circle this year? May have some siitng on the sidelines come playoffs.
We have;
Chase
Kyle
Logano
Kes
Kurt
Denny
Truex
Harvick
No wins yet, and you could legit see wins by 5-6 other guys. Especially on the big tracks.

Blaney,Preece,Dillon,Jones,Newman,Bowman,Stenhouse,Almirola,Debinedetto

I could see Kurt not having a win but he is good enough to get in the playoffs without a win.

I'm starting to think Kyle Bush has lost it. Is he really driving that Toyota as hard as when he won his title? It's hard to believe that Joe Gibbs isn't putting him in a car that is much better than the results I'm seeing. Kinda felt that way the last few years of Jimmy Johnson's career. Little surprised because of Kyle's age, but family changes and so does life. Maybe guys just stop pushing as hard as it takes.

As a driver, I don’t think Kyle has lost it. His team has gone through some changes over the past year. I think it is more internally with the team not being on the same page.

I'm surprised Joe Gibbs hasn't stepped in then. This has been a while now and it's hard to name another racing team that is as consistent as his Toyota team? Even Bell looks better right now, much less seeing the same ole Hamlin and Truex. Kyle just isn't getting upfront, even at the start of races. Just weird for a guy who drives like Earnhart.

I don’t think there is much Gibbs can do at the moment. The combination of a new crew chief and no practice has really played a role in things. I wouldn’t sell on Kyle just yet. The season is young and his team showed improvement during the race yesterday.

So what’s the racing at Nashville speedway(not the fairgrounds) like? Been a while since we’ve been there.

Him and Adam Stevens had a personnel disagreement late in the offseason and requested to go their separate ways and Gibbs allowed it so I guess that’s his way of stepping in

I think they got dismissed pretty quickly but maybe I’m wrong

I’d be down for it, I have a feeling I’d agree with him on a lot of issues but I’ll believe it when I see it

Nashville Superspeedway (which is its official name) is a little larger than Dover (1 mile) at 1.333 miles. It’s also a D-shaped oval, whereas Dover is a true oval.

No post on the race today? Let’s hope the car package can make this Phoenix race as exciting as they made a boring Vegas track last week.

3 of the 4 Hendrick cars are starting from the rear. Bowman the only one not although he’s starting 21st.
