On the JUCO front, Bossier has more prospects than normal. They have a pitcher committed to NC State.

Delgado has former Nicholls DH Brayden Joubert, an LSU commit.

Southeastern vs. Miss. Valley (x3) / vs South Alabama (x1) - Side note: MVSU is playing five games this weekend in three days? That final Sunday game they might give up 100 runs
Valley and SLU are only playing twice, 4 games total for Valley. SLU plays USA once.

The stadium looks superb msu, the new field is bright. AS far as SLU this year, deep and talented according to the roster. However, only saw a few games last year. Pitching staff should be solid, but not 100% on batting.

Thanks for the thread.

Can’t wait to go watch some games at the new Tech stadium. It’s super nice. Don’t y’all have Arkansas coming down for a midweek series or something?

Cajuns got an infielder from Bossier Parish CC this year, Bobby Lada.

We also have Mike Bianco's son, Sam, as a freshman this year.

There is no better state for college baseball than Louisiana.

There is a passion for the baseball here on the collegiate level that I don’t think you see anywhere else.

Hell yeah! It’s an incredible spot for a baseball stadium. So glad they opted not to move location. Student apartments overlook left field.

Our pitching should be really good but I don't know what to expect at the plate.

Hopefully with a year and a half now with Deggs training the team, his batting system will start to take off

The hitting had been pretty anemic the last 3-4 seasons

Listened to Bab on radio.

Friday | SP Hayden Durke (Fr.) RHP, 6'3 197 lbs. | One of our highest rated high school prospects in a while (89th in the country). Power arm from North Vermilion HS, shoutout tEgg Vermilion Parish proud.

Saturday | SP Conor Angel (Jr.) RHP, 6'6 185 lbs. | Returning starter from last year. Another power righty, struck out a lot of guys last year but also walked a bit too many. 3.74 ERA in 21.2 IP.

Sunday | SP Carter Robinson (Jr.) RHP 6'9 238 lbs. | Not as much of a power guy as the first two pitchers, but he's so tall that the ball gets on hitters quickly. 1.31 ERA in 20.2 IP last year.

Man the field is great. As an alum, the only thing I wish they could do is add a screen to block the eye sore that is the old gym/campus in general

There used to be huge pine trees that hid the campus in RF. I dont love the actual sitting area for RF students. Something about being out there with a 12 pack and crawfish in a lawn chair on that hill watching ball...good times in Ruston.
