There just aren't enough teams out west set to make the field to put another regional there just because, when C-USA/USM are more deserving this year. It would also make for much better/shorter travel for more teams overall. The committee may do another west site anyway but they shouldn't.

Yes, same guy that tried starting a fight after Tech walked them off in the first game and he just happened to be the guy with the ball bottom 9 up a run with 2 outs bases loaded... funny how baseball works.

I wonder what they have up their sleeves for tomorrow. I'm kind of hoping they do a Jennings/Fincher combo. I think both can have 3+ solid innings in them.

The realist in me says we have no shot tomorrow with much less rest and no idea who's pitching, but the realist in me also thought the same today! So you know what? To hell with the realist in me. LOL
I'm still in shock at Martinez' performance. I've been bashing that guy for over a month now. If you told me they took some ringer and put him in Martinez' jersey, I'd believe it.

No thanks. I’d rather Southern. Tech needs to save their top 2 for LSU twice. McNeese just put up 18 yesterday. I do think Tech hosts and it will be the toughest regional in the tournament. McNeese wouldn’t surprise me.
