Charlotte down 9-2 to FAU in the losers bracket. Very real chance that they go home after 2 games.
It blows my mind that Charlotte chose to throw a bullpen game in game one against Middle Tennessee's ace. They have four decent starting pitchers too. It's like they wanted to lose.

I barely made it! I fell asleep as soon as that dude jacked that walk off run rule homerun. LOL I wanted to see if Stanley could get a no hitter. He pitched lights out! I'm glad Tech ain't facing him today. He also happens to be the one pitcher that held Tech's lineup in check both times.

Yeah I figured it will be very hard for me to get tickets to the games. How do you think the OF seating will work? Isn’t that normally student seating?

I think it's safe to say that Charlotte has been eliminated from any talks about hosting a regional. Pitt was already pretty much eliminated. That leaves 18 teams for 16 spots, Tech and Southern Miss being two of those last 3 or 4 vying to host. That makes tonight's LT vs SM absolutely huge.

My guess is that they'll have the boosters buy that section out and give them to students at no charge. That is simply a guess though. Left field by the apartments will probably be completely blocked off.

Usually anyone can watch from right field. They used to not even have it closed off. You could just walk up and watch. Not sure about how it's set up now after the rebuild.

Because of Charlotte's early exit and South Carolina falling off a bit, there's a strong possibility that Southern Miss or Tech won't even have to win the tournament. It may pretty much come down to whomever finishes higher between the two.

A few other teams to keep an eye on are TCU, East Carolina, South Carolina and Gonzaga.

TCU is pretty close to locking up a regional host, but a couple of losses could prevent that.

East Carolina could drop significantly with a loss Friday.

I think South Carolina is dangerously close to falling out of contention for hosting a regional. They have to win their next game.

Gonzaga has jockeyed their way into a good position for hosting, but they play a pretty darn good San Diego team in a three game series soon. Losing that series would be detrimental for their dreams to host.
