Arenado feels like a solid bet to come up at the deadline again. Rockies should be pretty bad.

Yeah, but the same issue is gonna be there. Asking too much for 2 year opt out, which then would be 1.5 years.

Maybe reality starts to hit if they’re bad again but the Rockies are a weird franchise
If not, perhaps Story is available. Either at the deadline or next winter. I don’t think it’s likely they’re able to pay him on top of what Arenado and Blackmon are making. But again the Rockies are dumb

Rumor mill is churning that Arenado almost got into a fist fight with the GM...its more than likely a divorce at this point. Good job Rockies. They successfully pissed off one of their most talented players ever. What a shitshow.

Rockies are such a sad franchise. Denver is a great baseball market, probably better than most people realize, they pack Coors even with how mediocre they’ve been. Shame they can’t get their shite together
