but seems like the Rangers are sick of waiting on it.

This was the sentiment. He was a guy that was never healthy for a full year and would go extremely cold at the plate for long periods of time.

He also was slow as shite and was a negative fielder with a plus arm.

Looking like Rangers or Angels for Rendon. Most likely becomes a Ranger. Lord knows we need him, a catcher, and a little more pitching help still.

Rockies are willing to listen to trade inquiries on superstar 3B Nolan Arenado (and anyone else); they’ve gotten many calls on him since trade deadline. Would shake up monster 3B market (Rendon, Donaldson, Bryant) but no one sees as likely yet. Has full no-trade so up to him.

The Dodgers' offer for Gerrit Cole was eight years for $300 million, per sources. It included deferrals.

The Angels' offer was south of $300 million over eight years with deferrals.

looks like the 9th year played a big part in him choosing the yankees, and the deferrals

Talking with someone close to #Cubs, sounds like 2 pitching prospects and a bat would get it done for Bryant. They're assuming he loses grievance & has 2 yrs left before free agency). #Braves match up better than other potential suitors if they're willing to part with prospects.

I really want to see the Dodgers make this Lindor trade. They can afford to make the deal.

I’d like to see that Bryant deal go down as well. Anderson, Wright, and Pache would already be on a plane to take their physicals.

Solak can play 2B and also will DH some. He may be the utility guy in the IF next season, similar to how we used Profar a couple years ago. There also was talk last year of him playing corner OF.

With Mazara gone that takes one less bat away in the OF and so he will probably be the utility guy to start the year unless he has a great spring and moves Rougie to the bench.

i am fine with lux being moved for lindor even though it hurts. but they are going to have to come down from demanding may if there is any expectation for the dodgers to take only lindor

When Hal Steinbrenner, taking a page out of his legendary dad’s playbook, OK’ed the 9th year, that was the clincher on Cole talks. Yankees are getting a bit of backlash but they seem to care not one bit. Response of some Yankees people: we have the $, so too bad!
