I hope you are right, but two of his teammates (Reddick and Miley) have already stated in an interview they expect Cole to be pitching for the Angels. Cole went to high school four miles from Anaheim Stadium. His wife is also from Cali. Puljos comes off the books in two years so they should easily be able to afford him.

He grew up a Yankees fan apparently and didn't sign when drafted. Where someone comes from only plays a part when all things are equal imo. He has mentioned how much he likes Houston a few times

I still think have a shot, may be slim but players rarely end up where the expects pick. Remember last year everyone thought the Yankees would sign either Corbin, Harper, or Machado.

Possible but as the market may shift they may not know. Like two months ago the agent could have gotten one indication from a club and now something different since they can't officially exchange anything
