As the 9th started I told my wife to sit down and explained to her how the Cardinals have been winning games all month and would win this one (if they held true to form).
The Martinez triple and Fowler sac fly were sweet, but when Edman came up I told her he reminds me of an 80's Cardinal. If he gets on he'll steal 2nd and get knocked home with a base hit. And surer than shite it happens!
This team feels like a load for October.
