Génesis Cabrera has some really nasty stuff, he's just very raw. If he can mature into a pitcher, he could be a nasty left from pen or even start.

Potential to be nasty hurler, or has to nibble with nasty stuff because he wastes 2 many pitches.

Good way to rebound after the shite show last night, a 10-0 pounding in every phase.

Go Brew Crew!

How terrible. I was hoping he would beat it. He was a big reason why the 2006 team just had enough to sneak into the playoffs.

Have you seen Gant and Brebbia lately? Gallegos for that matter too?

Our pen is exhausted from the starters not being able to go 5 innings for 3/4 of the season.

Much of the time the starters are pitching good enough to stay in past 5 innings. But every manager and GM has been brainwashed to pull the starter after 5 innings. Even if the starter has only given up 1-2 runs. Like Mikolas last night only giving up a run and 3 hits in 5 innings. But he mysteriously had to be pulled after 5 innings. And then the bullpen caves in 2 innings later. I really hope this idiotic fad dies forever very soon.

Then bring up some one who can pitch.

We ALL know what those turds can do, it's not getting people out. They both get the call up and get shelled, yet again, then mayers pitches yet again and gets lit up.

If they have no one else, then it's another failure of Mo'ron. Even Ray Charles could see that their back end guys were going to be on fumes from over use.

It's September, anyone that can pitch is already up.

We must have watched a different team the first half of the season then.

There have been several games the starter pitches good enough to stay past 5 innings. But gets pulled anyway. Mikolas should have stayed in longer yesterday.

Disagree, 100 pitches 4 walks and not sharp at all yesterday. Had no business coming back out for the 6th after barely getting through 5 with two on.

Hopefully that was a week and a half worth of bullpen suck all endured in one day, At least the Cubs and Nats both lost.

Cards win, Cubs lose. 3.5 game lead.

Cubs had bases loaded no outs and scored 1 run via a walk, Castellanos the savior K'd with none out.

Dbacks are just 1.5 back of Cubs for 2nd wildcard.

They lost Baez for probably the rest of the regular season, and an 8 game road trip with a west coast swing to San Diego this time of year can be killer especially if they lose the series vs the Brewers tomorrow.

We need to take care of business tomorrow with Flaherty going and look to sweep the Rockies again.

I hope it works out that way, we certainly didn't dazzle last time we went out there.

While I was looking I also noticed the Dodgers actually have a mediocre road record compared to their overall record. Who knows, if we get that far?

Yeah I'm not looking that far ahead.

We could definitely still shite the bed the final week vs the Cubs for sure.
