Yeah I don’t really understand why they did it. A guy like Jose Iglesias was available for like 7m this winter. It sounds shitty to say but he’s not a player worth taking the PR heat over at all

I agree 100%.
I mean they did get Descalso and hes been good so far. Hopefully Russell is only starting tonight because Deacalso is still nicked. I would imagine if the Cubs continue to take hit from a PR perspective they will just DFA him at some point.
