2020 Bama is basically 2019 Bama with an extra year of experience and no Tua. LSU by a touchdown +.

This is dumb 2018 Bama beat LSU 29-0 and out gained them by 300 or 400 yards.

The 2018 team had the Devin White, Greedy, and prime Delpit.

2019 LSU would only beat 2019 Bama 3 out of 10 times. They were fortunate to face a hobbled Tua who hadn't practiced in 3 weeks.

2019 LSU was bad defensively and less dominant against SEC then 2018 Bama team and 2020 Bama team. 2019 LSU gave up 38 to Vanderbilt and only scored 23 against a mediocre Auburn defense.

They had a great playoff run against a a Jalen Hurts led OU team while Bama played a Kyler Murray OU team with 2 1st rd wide receivers and one of the best O-lines in OU history.

Bama played Clemson with 3 1st rd defensive lineman. LSU played a Clemson team with a weak front.

2019 LSU would be blown out by 2018 Bama or 2020 Bama.

I’d give 2019 LSU the advantage, but 2020 Bama could win 2-3 out of 10

Wow a rational Alabama fan! Kudos to you sir.

It's a good question. Bamas offensive skill players are just as good, especially if you include Waddle. Burrow is better than Jones, but you can argue Bamas Oline is better than LSUs.

Meh, 2019 lsu managed stops against a much better bama offense in 2019

2019 Bama managed a few against LSU. And no...... 2019 Bama offense with a banged up Tua is not “much better” than Bama’s current offense.

But Mac Jones has put up numbers just as good as Tua without those 2 WRs...kinda... and without non-conf games to bolster stats.

Last year there was 4 qbs that managed over a 180 passer rating, this year there are 8

It continues like that throught intervals of 10. For whatever reason the covididity of the situation seemed to make playing QB easier than normal

This years Alabama team is not head and shoulders above the same team they had last year, or any of their other championship teams.

Everyone else sucks this year. That’s the difference. This year exposed how much teams in the second tier of the SEC rely on OOC tune-ups for reps and win totals.

We will see

Cushenberry and Lewis were instant success in the NFL this year

It’s almost like no one’s defense had three OOC games to work the kinks out before being thrown into the fire of conference play this year.

2019 LSU is a much much better team than 2020 Alabama. In fact I think 2019 Alabama is a better team than 2020 Alabama.

Yeah but the conference sucks this year. Mizzou, Arky, and A&M are the only improved teams but Mizzou and Arky aren't actually good.

The SEC schedule thing loses a lot of weight when you include the opt outs and lack of fans in the stadiums into the equation

Burrows lowest stats game was the first game of the year OOC because he was pulled so early

I would imagine Tua was similar in 2019

Based on the OM and UF games, Burrow and co. would torch Bama’s D. There’s not a team in recent memory that would keep it particularly close imo, that team was on another level

This isn't one of Bamas 5 best teams of the Saban Era. Defense is not very good.

2019 LSU squeaked by some mediocre teams. Texas and Auburn. They gave up 38 to Vanderbilt lol. They squeaked by a banged up Bama team that played awful. Still took some breaks for LSU to win that one.

The 2018 Bama team had the best personnel of all-time on offense.

Top 5 pick at QB highest rated passer of all-time in NCAA history.

Damien Harris, Josh Jacobs, and Najee Harris at RB

2nd rd TE in Irv Smith.

4 1st Rd Wrs . Waddle, Ruggs, Juedy, and Smith

3 1st rd tackles on the O-line. So much talent they had 1st rd tackles playing guard waiting their turn.

Beat every single SEC opponent by 3 scores or more until UGA in the SECCG.

Including shutting out 11 win Fiesta bowl champ 28-0. Beat Auburn by 5 scores etc.

2019 LSU doesn't measure up to 2018 Bama or 2020 Bama.

Bama is somewhat lucky Oklahoma didnt back door into the playoffs. They have shown they can get in tight situations with bad teams who simply have good offenses

For example Oklahoma 2019 and Bama 2020 would be tight

Lsu gang raped them
