No it's not.

You're one of those people who go berzerk if some local sports guy gives a soccer score as one-zero instead of one-nil aren't you.

I don't think Miles really thought Cynn was slow rolling him. I think he was just giving him a little shite after losing a marathon session that took a lot out of both players. Considering how many times Cynn had made the wrong decision on earlier hands when Miles went all in Cynn isn't making a snap call without the nuts in any situation where the outcome of the tournament could be on the line.

He wasnt intentionally slow rolling, thats just the way Cynn plays. He was never folding under any circumstances though.

Are there two different terms for quads, depending on whether two or three of the four are on the board?

Good question in light of the discussion about sets. My personal answer is not that I've ever heard.

It’s called being humble.

Cynn felt guilty because it could have come off like a slow roll, when that wasn’t his intention at all.

I’ll copy and past Miles’ comments about it tomorrow, but both guys seem incredibly classy. Happy Cynn got the W.

The cosmos needed a double dose of that at the table to balance the scales with having Hellmuth in the commentating room.

I'd rather a Cynn win than a Jaime Gold

Anyone know what the typical deal is for these guys that don't have $10k sitting around?

I would assume a good portion of the field won a satellite tournament (say 100 people x $100 buy in) to get their spot.

Most times its a 10 person sit n go tournament at the WSOP, like a daily event. $1000 + rake buyin, winner takes the seat in lammers

Random question, anyone have suggestions for how to value hands based on the number of players at the table? I find myself comfortable valuing my hands when I'm playing with a full table, but not as the numbers go down, especially in a sit and go situation.

This isn't really the type of thing you can quickly know by a rule of thumb or simple chart or something.

You need to study shorthanded and heads up play. Entire books have been written on the subject after all. You mentioned Sit N Gos, might wanna check out

https://www.amazon.com/Sit-Go-Strategy-Collin-Moshman/dp/1880685396

But in essence, the shorter the table, the power of the starting hands go up because there are less hands to beat. Something like A9 offsuit is at best marginal in a full game because you have 8-9 random hands to beat. However in a shorthanded game it's much more powerful because you may only have 2-3 random hands to beat and it's way more likely to be the best hand preflop.

Joe Cada is insane. Won a bracelet 3 days (or so) after finishing 5th in the main event.
