I can't imagine riding a mile over those much less 21km. Your butt and hands beat to crap.

Just to kill time before tomorrow’s stage, what song comes to mind that describes stage 9 for you? There are no wrong answers to this question. Blitzkrieg Bop by The Ramones was one that popped up. The Smithereens grinding out Deep Black and GreenDay’s Waiting were a couple others I listened to driving today. Tomorrow, if raced properly, could be epic! Can’t wait to watch this one...
ETA: I do believe Quickstep, with no GC aspersions, coupled with Astana will blow things up tomorrow and may ignite the fire for the peloton to implode.

Sorry everyone for my slow title updates, been spending 3rd shift with the baby and you know how that goes.

Super pumped for the cobbles tomorrow.

As for a Stage 9 song: "I Think I'm Paranoid" by Garbage. I have a hunch the GC contenders make it through without issue, but that's why they race.

Bummer for Irishman Dan Martin today, crashing near the end and losing a minute or so. I was pulling for him after his gutsy win a couple days ago.

Greg van Avermaet has to be the saddest man to ever be in the yellow jersey

lost his team leader with Porte's abandonment today

Foglsang now down in a crash on the cobbles but he seems to be up quickly

Tejay just crashed right at the start of the next set of cobbles right after getting back on the end of the main peloton

and with Porte now out... Tejay has become BMC's hope for a podium position

ETA: and now Tejay realizes he has a flat tire

Tejay was 2:30 behind the yellow jersey group with the other GC contenders but had gotten into a group that was trying to get back there
