I would say no. He doesn't have anything to gain as far as seeding goes for RG, but would 2 weeks off be any better than 1? He'll just be practicing in his spare time anyway.

I think the point is it looked like it was over for Federer and Nadal. Meanwhile, Nole closed out four straight majors at Roland Garros, then Murray put the full court press on the last half of the year to get to number one. Now, it looks like Nole and Murray blew their wad to reach those accomplishments and the two GOATs are back running things in their old age.
