I see where Hornqvist is back tonight. So are they going to reform HBK? If they do that, Ottawa could have some headaches tonight.

Hornqvist goes to 3?
Malkin moves to 1?
HBK is 2?

All of this trap talk is giving me flashbacks of the 1995 Cup finals.

If there is a god, the Sens win tonight.

Stop whining about the Trap.

Only you and Baloo hate it right now.

Did you now know Guy Boucher is really Lou? That scar is just to cover up the zipper on his costume. Notice you never see Lou and Guy in the same place at the same time.

darn young whippersnappers these days don't know about a REAL trap with the red line and no two line passes.

You ever remember having to explain offside to someone and then realized you have to explain 2 line passes also?

It just made it awful. As bad as the Fox tail awful.

The two line pass was an atrocity.

And pretty much everyone hates the trap. Hell, PLAYERS hate the trap. Remember when the Flyers essentially refused to play the Lightning's trap, and wouldn't come out behind the net until the Bolts at least attempted to forecheck? Or Brett Hull's famous "the game sucks" rant?

We did the Dead Puck Era. I ain't going back. It was horrible. The only good thing about it was Scott Stevens wrecking people, and that's now illegal. The trap without violent hitting is plain unwatchable. I mean, if there's gonna be no skill, the least you can do is provide violence.

Now now. We all love the trap right now because it may get Pittsburgh beat. Since the Caps could not do it, for like the 9th time, lets try this.

BB03 and/or anyone else knowledgeable about betting

Question: I bet on the Preds to win the Cup before the playoffs at +3000. I am thinking about hedging if/when the Penguins win tonight. However, I know that Pitt would be pretty solid favorites to win the series...so I was curious to know if I could create a 2 team parlay, 1 spot being Penguins -200 tonight and then leaving the other spot open. Then, if Pitt advances, add in whatever their odds are to win the series in the 2nd parlay spot

Would the sports book allow me to do that? Or no since it's the same team?

I would think youd have to put Pittsburgh's current SCF futures odds on the card at the same time.

So Pitt -200 ECF game 7, Pitt -120 to win SCF (guessing on that) parlay.

Not sure though.

Nice job on the nash bet. I remember advising you to take Ottawa.

I'd rather the Penguins win the Cup than go back to the trapping Dead Puck Era.

Yeah. It's just that this Pens-Senators series is TERRIBLE. I mean, I want to root for the Sens, but God, that is some boring arse hockey they play. When I'm actually watching, I can't bring myself to do it. There's too many flashbacks of how awful the NHL got in the late 90s. I don't like the Penguins, but I think a Senators win would be actively harmful to hockey, as this is a copycat league, and we don't need more teams playing like them.

Thankfully, the Predators are pure joy. So I'll have no problem in the Finals, regardless of who they play.

appreciate it. Wish I would've listened to you about Ottawa

Yeah, it won't let me parlay Penguins ML tonight with Penguins Stanley cup future

However...while looking at my account I totally forgot back in November I parlayed "Tom Herman will not be LSU coach" at -160 and left a spot open on it. So I just added Penguins cup future to that and now the parlay is +300

The 1995 and 1996 Red Wings teams were so stacked. I thought for sure both would have beaten the Devils and Avalanche. The 1996 team had something like 115 plus points that year.

I am so ignorant about gambling. How much would you win if Predators win it all?
