Ok I thought you were referring to Kostin. How's Thompson looked in preseason? I saw him at Uconn the 2 seasons he spent there, was really the one player who kept them in games.

No, I don't think it was realistic that Kostin would make the roster yet. Thompson has looked good from what I read. Steen should be back soon, so he might get sent down.

Biggest surprise for Avs fans this camp/preseason is Alex Kerfoot. He wore the C at Harvard last year and has looked really good on a line with Duchene and Yak during preseason.

the old arena was great. shitty facility wise, but man the place got loud and the atmosphere was great.
nothing was greater than old chuck norris games, and there were more fights in the stands, than on the ice, and the norris was goon central.

Jiri Hudler has ruined his career. A report by a Czech newspaper, relayed by CBS into English, alleges he demanded cocaine from a flight attendant on a Delta flight then threatened her life when she denied the request. He then also tried to urinate on the food cart...after supposedly doing cocaine IN THE BATHROOM. Something tells me he won't be finding a late landing spot in the NHL.
