Is the Tourmalet tomorrow? I thought it was Wednesday. That is when the TdF begins.

Tomorrow's stage and Thursday up Plateau de Beille are more likely to open up gaps than the Tormalet on Wednesday

Nibali is in a very tough spot. Wonder what Astana's strategy will be

Pinot needs to win this stage and save his so far desastrous start. Looking at Dan Martin to make a push for the win also. Quintana has raced well, he needs to make his presence felt today

Here we go, bottom of the climb

They're dropping like flies

Good night, Vincenzo.

This is great, race has been completely blown apart with all the GC contenders all over the mountain with gaps opening up.

Can Quintana close down on Froome?

That acceleration was something else. He just blew this thing wide open.

Apparently someone hacked Sky's computer system and got Froome's files.
I'd start with the Cards Scout

Amazing move by Froome. Didn't see that coming this early.
Today is the first day I've watched. Reminded me of why I've followed this race religiously since the LeMond days.

Froome looks to be on a completely different level than everyone else, and I would hope that it is all him. How many times has too good to be true been so.

Tour is over. Anyone who believes this is legit has their head buried in the sand. This is not normal. He has to be at nearly 7 W/Kg

Movistar really messed up. They should have played it differently. Valverde looked strong but they didn't use him correctly.
Needless to say this thing is over.

You smell it too? What a bludgeoning of the field today by Froomdog. What did Sky finish today...1, 2 and 6? The guy that posted UK Postal the other day is right. This crew is suspect on the surface. We saw this before (US Postal) and they ended up being less than clean. They're all more than likely dirty but Sky might have the goods? Who knows...but this is over it appears. I really wanted to see a good 3 week race. Hope he (Froom) cracks spectacularly one day but I just don't see it.

The Tour was better when everyone was doping. Which was, well, the entire damn history of the race. So I don't care if Sky is doping. I hope they are.

But credit to Porte for setting the pace today. He did the heavy lifting and won this stage for Froome, setting up that late charge. Love the foot soldiers having a big day.

Yeah Porte did what valverde did for Quintana, only much better.
Movistar played right into Sky's hands and "blew their wad" too early

I'm actually irritated he didn't win most aggressive rider for the day. Give Porte something for the effort. That ride probably won his teammate the Tour.

That let's me know a little about you...casual July fan.

BTW...Porte is a goat that today was smiling as he passes the best climbers in the world and after working for Froom. So disgusting that I was Laughing my a$$ off.

But, carry on...
