Really wasn't even a dig, more of an observation, there was a thread on here about NBA Trades ETC that was labeled "Official" however, much like the Tiger Rant everyone created their own thread instead of keeping it contained.
You've become sensitive, I understand with everything happening in the world today. First it was the Vancouver vs Memphis thread, then the NBA and NFL thread, it has become a growing trend.

I don't even understand what this means

Was a NBA related thread and I was defending my hometown that gets shite on a lot around here. Plus I started joking around with it on like the 2nd page.

then the NBA and NFL thread

For making of the idea that deflate gate is actually a thing anyone cares about?

He can look all he wants, no one will give it to him.

And I like his game. He's probably around $10-12 million a year type of guy.

This is a guess on my part, but I think he would take less if it allows them to squeeze in a player that he thinks will greatly improve the team. No basis behind that belief though.
Could be wrong, but I think there's zero chance he takes a penny less than max.

So you think if they sign Love and let TT walk, LeBron is going to leave Cleveland? That's what your post seems to be implying.
The real power of Lebron is that he doesn't have to worry about it coming to that, he will get what he wants IMO.

Didn't he basically come out and say last summer he is done taking less than the max after doing it in Miami?

Looks like the top two targets for the Pistons as of right now are DeMarre Carroll and Danny Green.

restricted free agency is a biiiiittttccchhhhh

Chicago Bulls restricted free-agent guard Jimmy Butler has plans to pursue shorter-term offer sheets this summer, resisting the Bulls’ initial plans to offer him a five-year, maximum contract extension, league sources told Yahoo Sports.

Butler’s intrigue with signing a potential Los Angeles Lakers offer sheet has increased, league sources told Yahoo Sports.

Butler has preliminary plans to pursue meetings with several teams once free agency starts in July, sources said.

quote:

A league source again acknowledged that one of the issues that has left Butler willing to play hardball with the Bulls in his push to hit the free-agent market sooner than later was because he’s turned off with the idea that it’s “Derrick Rose’s team.’’

quote:

So few are surprised that Butler is now doing all he can to draw a short-term deal as a restricted free agent so that he can hit the market unrestricted as quickly as possible.

Yup. Boston has space and assets, should it come to that.

A lot of teams will want Harris.

If Boston gets him, I guess that makes Jae Crowder available.

Yeah...both sides are respectfully saying the right things, but SVG came out and said Monroe is free to return as a backup 4/5...he is done in Detroit.

I'm super interested to see how FA plays out for LA. Trying to figure out if all of these guys are seriously thinking about going there or using it as leverage.

I do think LA is a fantastic destination for guys attempting to take these 1 year deals. Y'all are notorious for over inflating a guys worth to other teams

i think well make some moves. mitch said on cowherd this morning that we will be agressive. i would love khris middleton but well have to over pay for him and i think anthony brown could potentially fit that role. take this for what its worth, but brousard was saying earlier today that a league GM said that we apparently did some straight up tampering and have a silent agreement with one of the big men. so who knows

i think well get one of the big men this offseason. i think the front office missed on thinking we could get dwight back, but outside of that, i havent seen the front office this confident since the summer of 2012 and that makes me cautiously optimistic

I'm kind of interested in what market he's going to recieve. I certainly wouldn't want to be the one to pay him.
