Meh. IMO the lakers are a prime tanking candidate. They are still VERY far away from contending and they will lose their (likely) top 6 or 7 pick next year. Better to suck and try for a top 3 pick.

You'll just still suck and not gain the largest benefit from sucking.

do you have any idea how difficult it is to get a top 3 pick in the draft? playing for that to happen is so stupid

I don't think the word difficult makes much sense there.

Low chances. Sure. But nothing about winning a lottery involves difficulty or effort.

thats why its difficult, not only do you have to lose a lot, but you can get fricked by the lottery. just look at the knicks this year

Kristaps Porzingis suffered a hip injury five minutes into his private workout with the Knicks. He then stopped.

Yea because whoever wins the lottery next year gets the next great top tier superstar of the NBA Ben Simmons.

I would absolutely LOVE Benny in LA playing for the Lakers. Dude would be the face of the franchise for a long time.

I didn't think an LSU athlete could be hyped more than Leonard Fournette, but it's happening.
