The PUBLIC School playoffs are not valid with the Private schools going it separate. They will not have a true champion. More of the hand it out mentality to make people fell good about themselves. What happened to having to EARN greatness?

class 5A and 4A nonselect will be legit, but 3A and below nonselect will be laughable...
simply put, teams will be in the dome that wouldn't and shouldn't have been in the past

And I bet Winnfield STILL doesn't win a 2A title, even with no Evangel, Calvary, U-High, or Curtis to block them.

I highly doubt U High makes it over PBS. Would take Curtis and PBS in the same side of the bracket for that to happen.

5 a will be legit. Select schools have only one title in the highest classification in the let decade......
And ECA has all the rest before that....prior to that have to go to shaw in 87.

You can't put the entire blame for the split on Curtis and Evangel. This is the best team your team has had in a while and anybody that follows them knows how it was built. I have no problem with that. Many other schools are taking the same shortcut. Bring in talented kids who previously weren't coming to your school and win almost immediately. Select schools should be able to do whatever they want and play in their own playoff divisions in all major sports. Anybody can schedule each other in the regular season if they choose to. The division 1 schools will have a great 3 game playoffs.

The schools that forced them to play in class...and later lobbied ferociously behind the scenes to get them in a separate playoff bracket this year....you know some of the schools with the ten team division.
