Day 1 is so boring compared to day 2, especially if your team only has one pick.

Truth.

You can't beat the fast paced action, especially with impact players still out there.

What round do they go through today?

15. Finish it off tomorrow, only 40 rounds this year.

Baseball America says that the Rangers were allotted $1,324,800 for the 39th pick. They can free up some wiggle room to add to it. Enough for Gallo? I'd think so.

Good deal. Wasn't sure if it was 15 or 20.

Thank you.

Yeah unless their first pick has some kind of crazy demand and they take a bunch of high school players early today.

Or maybe they will tell him he has to pitch.

Jerry Gallo (aka Jerry Callo) is good as gone.

And to the fricking Rangers of all teams.

Rangers keep loading up on offense and keep losing World Series.

Gallo was one of my favorite prospects, so I'm pumped the Rangers drafted him. I think the draft really undervalues players that aren't at up-the-middle positions. Gallo may have 80 power and an 80 arm, yet even with those elite tools, he fell to the supplemental round.

What good is 80 power if you don't make contact? #willymopena

Because he has a good chance of never making it to the show if his strikeout rate is absurd.
