It ain't typically a problem, but against good teams the one without the ball sometimes becomes a problem. They just stand out on the perimeter. James seems more like a 3 point threat out there than Wade.

This is also a coaching problem.

Boston vs Dallas

Shortened season means old guys are fresh at the end.

I think this has been overplayed in the media and might not be true. The older guys have less time to play a ton of basketball games with terrible travel schedules and nagging injuries throughout with not much time to rest.

Plus Boston has no depth to get to the finals this year.

The last time we had a shortened season, the OLD Spurs won. They were ANCIENT outside of Duncan that year. That's why the media is playing it up.

Laugh all you want and regurgitate what 80% of the posts before you predicted. Miami very easily could roll everyone this year, but what's fun about picking the favorite who just bought superstars? You a Yankees fan too?

The shortened season doesn't favor an old team, even if the Spurs did win it all back in 1999.

I don't see how it helps a team that made a lot of moves in the offseason either. A lot of Clippers to the Finals picks here. I don't really think it'll be Dallas vs Boston. I think Miami wins, but I think Dallas and Boston go deep. I wouldn't be surprised if one pulls an upset on one of the favorites in this thread.

Boston really was capable of pushing the Heat harder than they did in the playoffs last year. They just couldn't close out a few games.

The Bulls would have beaten them in the next round anyways, but still.

You have to like the opposing team's chances in a Game 6 or 7 when the Heat are facing elimination, which is why I think the Celtics had a great shot at beating Miami last year.

I was the head of the Celtics fan club back in 2010 when they made their run to the Finals and should have won it all as the 4 seed in the East. However, I'm not sure if they're capable of that this year. We'll have to see how they look at the end of the regular season.
