15th anniversary of Texas defeating USC in arguably the best college football game ever.

The irony. Steve Sarkisian was the QB Coach for USC in that game. He’s now the new head coach at Texas.

There was a pretty funny game thread here back in March when this was one of the pandemic games they were playing on TV when we had no sports.

Yep looking back it's crazy to think that 2004 LSU/OU was played on Wild Card weekend in the NFL. Watched Hasselbeck say "We want the ball and we're gonna score" outside of the sports bar in the Hyatt right before we walked into the Dome.

84 Orange wasn't truly a National Title game..
Miami went into the game as 5. Texas was 2 lost to UGA, Illinois lost to UCLA in the Rose as 4, Auburn was 3 and looked bad in the Sugar vs Michigan. Somehow the writers and coaches gave Miami the title.

The LHN is basically a rotation of this NC game and then the 2011 A&M game.

The Michigan game the year before was probably a better game than the SC game. Both were fantastic endings and great plays all through it.
