After listening to Rory's interview just now, hell, I'll throw in some money.

I miss chubby Rory the most

Its hard to fathom just how mentally fragile Rory was yesterday
Its his home course, he has the course record, he has maybe the most talent on tour, he was able to shoot the tournament low 6 under today, yet somehow he shot +8 yesterday
Thats remarkable stuff

After that shocking start, he had to be completely rattled. He did his best to hold on and get himself back in the tournament, with a chance to win. Then at the 16th hole, after clawing back just a little, he missed a short par putt and his spirit broke. That led to the jab at bogey and a miss. Then, he had to be completely numb as he went to the 18th hole, and totally botched it as well.
The range of emotions in the 5 hours he played yesterday had to have been excruciating.

Honestly, I think the money and life being a pro golfer mattered more to him than the success. Which there is nothing wrong with that. He just doesnt have the neurotic hunger to be great like Jack and Tiger

Did anyone ever see a breakdown of how Duval carded a 14 for one hole on Thursday? I know he played another ball out of the rough at one point, but how did he get to 14 strokes?

I suggest you Google it. I doubt TV showed any of the shots. Certainly not all 14.

Going to guess you mean Matsuyama, and no. First missed cut since last year’s Open.

I just looked it up. He lost two different balls off the tee. His third attempt off the tee (his 5th shot) he thought he found and played two shots with it (none of those shots with the wrong ball counted, but he was assessed a two stroke penalty for playing the wrong ball). After realizing it wasn’t his ball, he had to go back to the tee because that was now 3 lost balls. Finally he finished the par 5 in 6 strokes, but on his 4th ball.

My god I can’t pick all 4 players to make a cut in this league I’m in. Thanks

Damn, Mike Tirico is so good.

He pinch-hit for Dan Hicks at the middle weekend of the French Open. Him, Johnny Mac and Mary Carillo were awesome together. I wish he got to do more tennis.

McDowell shoots 68 early. He may be in the top ten by the end of the day if the weather forecast plays out.
