For those who say the US can't win the World Cup, I remember when the Saint would never win the Super Bowl. That being said...Spain will win it.

Yeah, I actually just got an internship with them so I'm doing a little work for them too.

Will US be at full strength? What's the latest on the key injuries?

Davies, Gooch, Dempsey, and Jermain Jones are all projected to be "healed" from their injuries, but in terms of match fitness/sharpness, no one really knows.
I'm getting really antsy about JJ joining us. He's been out for 8 months on a "mystery injury" that was projected to heal in 3 months. He's back training on the ball, but his window to win a spot with the USMNT is very small.
re: WC winner
I hope a dark horse can take it. Someone besides Brazil, Italy, Germany, Holland, Argentina, England, etc. It'd be cool to see an African team take it all.

I think Spain or the Netherlands takes it, the U.S. has a good chance to get out of the group stage I think, but that will likely be the best I see them doing.

Best chance out of the African teams?
Ivory Coast has a tough draw.

Ivory Coast and Cameroon both look the best on paper, but interchange between belonging to the group of death, depending on who you ask. Gonna be tough fursure. But they'll basically have home crowd advantage, which certainly helps.

Is Yoann Gourcoff still considered young/under the radar?
